Patrick Kelly
Principal
Paddy qualified as a solicitor in Leeds in 1981.
He established Kelly & Co. in 1987 after "Big Firm" experience to offer a service
to those in the property industry wanting more personal and stable relationships with their legal team. Paddy’s particular interests include property development and investment, planning, landlord and tenant. When asked how he copes with stress, his reply was “I take it out on Anne” (his wife for more than 30 years and business associate).
When he gets free time, Paddy likes to listen to music being particularly fond of opera. He enjoys reading and is involved in charity work. A father of three, Paddy is very much a “family man”. He enjoys most sports and has a passion for rugby. He avoids any form of housework. Paddy confesses that he is partial to the odd Guiness or two. Whose round is it next?
Paddy has three passions in his life. His work, Anne and a pint of Guiness.
Anne Kelly
Practice Manager
Anne has many years’ experience in sales and marketing with a major print group, eventually heading a direct marketing company.
She has been married since 1978 and has three children. When not at work life centres around her family and home yet she makes time for plenty of nights out with friends and family.
Anne enjoys the interaction with people that her career at Kelly & Co. demands, whether it be with staff or clients. Anne wears a number of hats within the company with major involvement in business development and marketing. Anne loves the varied content that her role at Kelly & Co. offers.
Anne’s experience in sales and marketing gives Kelly and Co. the edge when it comes to a presence in the property market.
Stephen Stanier
Partner
Steve qualified as a solicitor in 1991 moving to work in Leeds in 1995. He joined Kelly & Co. as an associate in 1999, left in 2001 then returned three years later to become a partner in 2004. Since qualifying Steve has worked exclusively in the field of property development and retail work.
Steve has a rather sad devotion to Blackpool FC and still manages to get to as many games as possible, despite being exiled in Yorkshire. Steve is also a passionate music lover with over 1000 albums in his record collection. In his student days he was in a band who unfortunately split up on the verge of greatness due to having no instruments. Music industry’s loss, property markets gain!

Kathryn Jackson
Personal Assistant
Kathryn started her secretarial career back in 1985 as a Criminal Secretary and moved into Commercial Property with Kelly & Co. in 1990. She loves family life but has been a loyal employee of Kelly & Co. Since it was established and still see's herself here for many years to come. She does however foresee her job becoming easier, as she firmly believes technology will take over the mundane jobs within the company allowing her to concentrate on client relations (i.e. socialising with various clients making big plans!)
Now that’s something worth looking forward to.
A multi-tasker, Kathryn has many strings to her bow including full time mum!!!
Charlie Buckley
IT Manager
Charlie started his career as a consultant. Kelly & Co. were so impressed with his technical expertise he was offered a full time position as IT Manager within the company.
Charlie ensures the continued success of the business through the smooth and proficient running of its IT, making the conveyancing process more streamlined.
Charlie is an active sportsman and his greatest achievement is skiing for the Sheffield ski team. He also enjoys squash and is captain of the Kelly & Co golf team.
Charlie has the need for speed and spends most of his weekends on his superbike!
Charlie’s insatiable appetite for learning brings a fresh forward thinking approach to the company’s IT.
